EKP Tool
For those who don't have PCplanner to transfer waypoints, routes and tracks between the EKP and PC, Visionaire developed a small transfer tool. The EKPtool will also help you syncing a flight plan created with FliteStar.
The usage of the EKPtool is straight forward.
- Save your Flighstar flight plan as a txt file (File > Export 'route' to: > Generic Text Format)
- Connect the EKP to the PC using the serial cable.
- Start the EKPtool.
- Press Load and get the Generic Text Format file.
- Press Convert (this will convert the FlightStar Flight Plan to an EKP format).
- On the EKP, first make sure you have an empty flight Plan.
- Then > Menu > Menu > Communications > FLIGHT PLAN UPLOAD
- Press UPLOAD on EKPTool.
- Check the number of waypoints. If ok close program and disconnect the EKP
