This screen will present all crusial information needed in flight and gives pilots the enhanced situational awareness they are looking for.
Jeppesen NavData
The GeoPilot like all AvMap Aeronautical GPS units come with the Jeppesen navigation data. This navData can easily be updated in a 28day AIRinc cycle.
Intuitive Flight Planning
Flight plans can either be entered via the Flight Planning Menu, using database information or on the Map. By using the Map view the pilot can easily see where he or she will be flying (terrain and airspace wise) and flight legs can be moved with the cursor. VFR reporting points are an integral part of flight planning.
All relevant information at your fingertips

The GeoPilot intuitive interface and key layout gives you quick access to all the information you might need. To do so it has:
- Logical menu structure.
- User a configurable data window and HSI data window, so that the pilot can view the information he/she needs in function of the phase of flight he/she is in.
- Easy consultation of Jeppesen NavData.
- North, course and track-up display and range rings (that automatically adapt scale with zoom in and out.
- By moving the cursor over an aeronautical object the pilot can get detailed information of this object (Automatic Info).
- Dedicated keys for specific functions like:
- NEAR - Displays a list of the 20 nearest aeronautical objects (airports, VOR, NDB)
- Goto - Activates a flight plan to the cursor position (in moving map) or to a selected object. Pilot can also resume active flightp plan after a GoTo.
- INFO - Displays airspace info from ground till airspace level on actual position of cursor position.
- HSI - Activates the HSI page (full screen. The pilot can also select a smaller HSI data window with MAP)
Simulator mode
With the simulator the GeoPilot user will experience his device as if it ware in flight. GeoPilot Plus users will also see the TAWS functionalities (by setting a flight alttitude). Changing this simulator alttitude +-500ft (in low terrain) or +-1000ft (in hight terrain) the user will notice changes is terrain visualisation helping in flight preparation decisions.
